Poor FTB. He blew out his knee over the weekend. Get better FTB! We miss you here at work!
nah nah nah nah...he he he...I have tomorrow off! Thank God for vacation time! My feet are killing me, so I'm going to bed late and waking up when I feel like it! FTB and BoyWithoutA Home both have to work tomorrow...Hey guys, let's bet that ASSHAT #1 doesn't show up? Wanna? he he he he ha ha ha ho ho ho!
Thanks to my friend Giro for this word. I love it!
Now on to my story...
The environment that I work in is very team driven. Sometimes you get to work on teams where everyone has the same goals, and that is what makes you want to come to work everyday. And then there are times when you get on a team where there are people who really don't care about the team or how their poor performance can impact the team. These people make everyday difficult.
My manager is out on vacation right now, and we have two ASSHATS on the team that are taking full advantage of that. It bugs the shit out of me!! Cause I can't do a damn thing about it. If I tried to pull the same things these ASSHATS are doing, my ass would be fired. The thing is, I wouldn't even try. I think the biggest difference between the team and these two ASSHATS is respect. I have respect for my teammates, and I would never knowingly put them at risk on their reviews. I may not be happy right now, but I still care about what happens.
I really do. I love it when the new TV seasons start. Here's what I will be watching for Premiere Week:
Monday:
Las Vegas: Josh Duhamel, "Leo" from AMC is in this series. Looks promising
Tuesday:
The OC: Dig this show! The show is on break until October
I'm With Her: Looks funny..worth a shot
Less Than Perfect: I watched this show last season. It got boring half way through the season, but I'll give it another try. Andy Dick cracks me up.
Wednesday:
Ed: Will Ed and Carol hook up? Love those crazy guys at the Stuckey Bowl!
The West Wing: Where is Zoey? This cliff hanger is killing me!
Thursday:
All Must See TV with the addition of Coupling, I have my doubts about this show, but I'll check it out.
Friday:
Miss Match: Will the Clueless star be able to transition into more mature roles? I hope so!
Hope and Faith: How many jobs does Kelly Rippa need?
Sunday:
American Dreams: This is a pretty decent show, good to see that it made it back this season.
The Lyon's Den: I'm gonna miss Sam Seaborne. *snif* *snif*
The Practice: This show is going to leave a ton of fans pissed off. No closure on where everone has gone. James Spader brings new blood, but he's not much of snappy dresser like Lara Flynn Boyle. I doubt I'll hang around for this one.
It's common knowledge that I hate my job right now. It wasn't always like this, but I'm not really sure when the change happened. I work Sunday through Wednesday. Yes, it's cool I get 3 days off in a row...still doesn't make up for working on Sundays. It's not normal, the average person who works does not work on Sundays. I really don't see the point for us being here on Sundays...other departments aren't, why do we need to be?
So since I'm here on Sundays, we're the only team here. I'm tired today, and because I'm tired, the tinest things are buging the shit out of me. Enter the Dufus Twins. Dufus #1 has a voice that just grates on my every nerve, and with no other noise to drown him out, his voice is booming more than usual today. I can't stand it! And Dufus #2..just looking at him bugs the shit out of me!
I went to see Ferris Bueller last night with Chad, Brandy and Courtney. Dude let me just say right now that this movies kicks butt. Seeing it in the theatres again also kicked butt. We knew all the words and it is still freakin funny after 15 years!
Oh and for those audience members that hushed us, go rent the DVD and get your ass out of the theatre!
Thanks FTB! I totally love it!
I love how like 5 people sent me this article today. Totally made my day!
I am sorry, but I do have access to a rather smelly and kinda creepy person that might be interested in your rather spectacular podiatric skills.
And as far as skills, I was lacking all day today, but the stellar azchef101 saved me more than once.
Dude I so need an agent..FTB, do you know anyone you can hook me up with? I know my talent for tying cocktail cherries with my feet is bound to make me rich!
I am checking out this ebay thing. Wow, how crazy. You can buy anything on there. FTB needs to be scouted for talent.
So if you worked hard on something to do another co-worker a favor...one would think that the co-worker would appreciate the time and effort you put forth just to help them get a leg up? Um no..I was barely graced with a response. It was like talking to a corpse, and it was totally pointless.
This person, who will remain nameless is a complete waste of time and energy. And that saddens me to greatly lenghts. I do a 120% everyday, as do a majority of my peers, but those 10% that only do 75% really hit a nerve under the surface of my skin. It just makes my blood boil! I hate slackers at work..they totally bring the team down, and we all have to suffer.
Why can't we have a non-pc work place? I would totally give this person a piece of my mind. If I ever quit and this person is still there, they better stay out of my way...there's no stopping me!
Dude...Universal just re-released the greatest movies of all time: Sixteen Candles; Weird Science; and The Breakfast Club! Target has each of them on sale for $13.99, or Costco has the set for $29.99. I am so stoked dude you don't even know!
I was reading this post by Joelle about pooping. Go check it out. Pretty funny shit.
It reminded me about the conversation my best friends Chad and Meghan had many years ago. I don't remember how we got on to the subject about pooping....Chad just went off on this crazy, yet logical tangent about poop. Chad says that when a man takes a shit, he's in for a good 30 minutes doing his business. When he's done, a man will turn around and take a look at what he has accomplished. Meghan was completly mortified by the conversation. She claims that she doesn't fart, and she still holds her ground on that fact to this very day. I don't think women look at it the way men do. We get in there, get it out and leave it. I just don't get why it takes men so freakin long.
I totally dig the 1968 version of Romeo and Juiliet. Everytime it's on, I get totally drawn in. I remember the first time I saw it. 7th grade, Catholic school...we all giggled during the scene after Romeo and Juiliet were married, and Romeo stands up after they spent their first night together. The camera shows his bare ass...I know it's not much to giggle about, but when you're watching it Catholic school it's a big deal. Sister Margret couldn't get to VCR fast enough.
I'm posting it early just so I don't forget.
