I had jury duty today, my second time in the last two years. I got picked this time. Let me just say that I find the whole jury picking process pretty damn funny. I swear every freak known to man comes out for jury duty.

I spent the whole freaking day in one cold courtroom. The judge asks detailed questions about how you would make judgements concerning the case. Is it really necessary to inform us that your 3rd cousin's, sister's, brother's, girlfriend had a knee replaced? Or how you must be excused from jury duty because you can't sit still for 90 minutes? People are really freaking strange.

I had planned to take my laptop today, but realized that I had to be at court by 8am instead of 830am...so I was already late and the laptop wasn't charged. I should have known that by not packing up my life, that I would have gotten picked. It's cool, at least I don't have to go to one job this week.

I went for my first workout last night, and I am feelin it this morning. But I'm ok with the sore tummy and thighs..in a few days they will be sore no more.

I love to workout late at night. No one else is there to bother you or stare at you cause you look like a giant fish out of water flaling about on the tredmill. Plus, that when the strange people come out. These two women last night, they were on the bikes for like 5 minutes, and then they left saying that they worked up such a sweat. Meanwhile there I am, for 45 minutes with puddles of sweat all over the place. They were just odd...

Today was just an amazing day. Still it's too freakin hot, and that means that summer and 115 degree days are right around the corner.

I went for a tour of Lifetime Fitness in Tempe today. I'm going to cancel my Curves membership, it just wasn't cutting it for me. The hours are not working for me and my crazy schedule. Now I can workout whenever I want, and I can do lap swimming too! The facility is really nice. Enough exercise machines for everyone, flat screen TV's, everything is clean and simple to navigate.

I'm going to head out for my first late night workout after Must See TV tonight. I'm so excited :)

Got a 5-day weekend away from on job, and I only have to work 1 day at the other. A much needed rest for myself. Courtney has the day off too, which is nice. We hardly ever get to see eachother this time of year. So we're running errans, dusting, cleaning, and attemping to dig through the mound of laundry. Should be a productive day for us :)

I'm worried about my friend. I hope that they are doing well, or at least they are on the road to sobriety.

I spent last night hanging our with Meghan and Jeannie. Went to see 50 First Dates, and I didn't get home until 2am. It's always cool to hang out with Meghan.

I just discovered iCal from Apple the other day. That program puts Outlook to shame. I'm putting everything on it so I can upload it to my iPod. Hmmm, maybe it's time to look into an Apple laptop???

Wow..it's been a rough week for my friends and their cats. BoyWithoutAHome and my friend Brandy had to have their loved ones put down because of liver problems.

That has got to be the worst experience. My heart goes out to them in this time of sorrow.

I love my friends so very much. We have been friends since we were 16. We've been through so much over the past 15 years, and even as adults we struggle, but we have always been there for each other. It's one thing in our lives that has never let us down.

I will be the first person to admit that as friends we did our share of 'experimenting' as many of us did growing up. I'm not ashamed of it, nor do I regret it. We all have our issues and sometimes we need a way to escape from them. Now that we are older, one learns that there are better ways to escape and to deal with our issues in a non-toxic lifestyle. One day, I just woke up and said, "I've had enough of this crap!" But some of my friends have yet to make that statement.

It's simply an amazing day today. Class got cancelled, and all the stuff I needed to get done I didn't have to cooped up in a hot windowless office to get it done. So I checked emails, checked voicemails, and packed everything up and headed home to hang next to the pool. This is one of those days that makes me love my wireless network.

No if I could just stop dozing off, I'd get a lot more done.

Chad just cracks me up. We all went out for an exciting night at Red Lobster last night. Nothing like fried seafood in the Arizona desert.

I got off to a late start this morning for work. I went to bed early last night, but I just couldn't get moving. It was nice to get ready for work a nice pace. I hate rushing in the morning. I always feel like I'm forgetting something when I rush. Thankfully, it's not my undies :)

Work is slowing down, or at least it was today. One client pissed me off today right off the bat. I know I'm not suppose to take it personally, but clients make it hard when they tell you that YOU are stupid and don't know how to do your job.

Mr. Client, why would I lie to you? Do you think that I pulled the answer out of my ass just to piss you off? Please people, I have better things to do than to fuck around with the likes of you. Fuck off. Oh yeah, Mr. Client...thank you for calling, have a nice day. Asshole.

As you may have noticed...I'm a little pissed off at my friend Joey Uhlik. So today, I stopped by his place of employment, just to say hi. I guess he had just left for lunch with his teenage grilfriend. His manager said that he might be at the food court. I gave his manager my card to pass along to the asshole, and I was on my way.

I wasn't going to go look for him, I just wanted to get some MAC sponges. But there was this force that is stronger than I am that kept pulling me towards the opposite direction. Shit, I went looking. Damn it Jedi mind trick!

Of course he was no where to be found.

I am so not getting shit done today. I need to soak some beans for Courtney's baked beans for Saturday, but I have yet to dig up the recipe and head to the store to get the fixin's. I was going to go to Costco with Granny this afternoon, but that didn't happen either.

Instead I watched How To Deal, took a long shower after my trip to the gym, caught up on my blog reading, and that was pretty much it. Now I'm going to watch Battle of Shaker Heights, then maybe I'll head out to Safeway sometime before midnight.

I'm so far behind....now I have to haul ass tomorrow :)

I'm pretty sure that somewhere in Maricopa county it's raining, but here in my little quiet central Phoenix neighborhood, all I get are the sound effects.

And my poor little bassett hound, Phoebe is shaking her floppy ears off when she hears the thunder. It's kinda funny...she won't stop pacing the living room. I have the front door open and she won't go anywhere near it. Now my other two dogs, Chase and Joey, are sound asleep on the floor at my feet.

Those of you who know me, know that I love the music and culture I grew up on, basically anything and everything from 1985-1995. Well this find just freaks me out.

On my days off I have a routine that I go through. Get up between 7-8am; watch the TIVO'd shows from the previous night; then browse through iTunes for anything new or old that I might like to download on to my iPod. I normally like to make a workout mix to help me stay motivated.

So today was no different. I was looking for a song from OMD for sometime now, Dreaming from their Best Of cd. Can't find the Best Of cd's at any of the Zia's in town or Tucsonso I was hoping that I might find it on iTunes. No such luck.

So I went to the gym, came home, and I started to tidy up my car. And I shit you not, under the passenger seat was the single I was searching for! I am so excited! The weird thing is that I have no idea where it came from...I've never seen it before. The only cd I had with the song it was the Best Of OMD cd, and that got stolen many moons ago.

Is there such a thing as CD fairies?

So this week I reached my 15lb weight loss mark. I am determined to to loose another 3lbs this week also. I loss the 2lbs I put in, plus 1.4lbs more! Looking back at the last four months, it's pretty easy to see when my female issues begin to take over, that's usually when I gain. Now I need to figure out how to nip that in the bud.

I'm going to be busy over the next few days. I signed up to plan my department's spring event. All by myself and it's Saturday afternoon. Costco and I are going to be good friends this weekend. I've got to work over at Sur La Table on Friday for a few hours. Mainly office work, trying to prep for the fall brochures. I've got mass laundry, and washing the puppies are also on my list.

BoyWithoutAHome and I stepped outside for quick little jaunt to the ATM. Man I so did not want to come to back. It is such a beautiful day outside! And going to work just ruins it. Lame man lame.

Oh great news...BoyWithoutAHome finally sold his house! The new one is going to get under construction soon. Hopefully he will be able to move in by September 2004!

Today was such a great day...probably the most beautiful day we've had this year. I got out of work a bit early, and had the whole day to do whatever I wanted.

I started driving home, listening to my iPod, jammin to these guys, and I just really wanted to spend the day with my friends. It didn't matter to me what we were doing, I just really wanted to be in their company. I called Chad, cause I was headed in his direction. He was in one of his 'moods' so he wasn't up for anything. I tried to call Joey, but he refuses to answer his voicemail or his phone these days. His teenage girlfriend is probably screening his calls. I honestly don't know what was with me today. Normally I love doing my own thing, but I guess I just didn't want to be alone today. I got home and called Meghan, and so I headed out to her pad.

It was a good time. We grabbed takeout from Outback, and headed back to her place to watch Drop Dead Gorgeous. I felt better. Now I'm off to sleep, and praying to God that tomorrow will a very slow day at work.

I've been to the gym, and I was all ready to get ready for work, when my boss calls and tells me that I don't have to be there until 430pm today. Very cool.

Now all I need to have some call and offer me a better job!

Finally got MT-Blacklist installed today. I got hit 20 times from the same freaking IP address today.
