The lineup for Coachella 2005 has been announced. Run and book your rooms now is all I have to say.
NEW ORDER is coming people! Do you need another excuse to go? Well here is another one for you NIN!
Courtney and I were just talking about this year's show and if we wanted to go last night. And I said, these are my exact words also, "Dude wouldn't it be cool if New Order came?" Freaky things like that have been happening all weekend. Brian and I were just talking about a stock that might be a good buy, and it's doing well today. Just weird man...it makes me a little nervous when things like this happen. I feel like their might be something waiting for me around the corner, usually bad, to knock the wind out of my sails.
NEW ORDER is coming! YIPPEE!
The holidays are over, and I have Sifl, (aka: new computer) now so I have no reason to make a new skin. My plans fell through for the evening, so it looks like Sifl and I will spend the night together. I'm tempted to upgrade to EE, but I don't know if I want to put all the time into changing things over just yet. That might have to wait until I take time off during spring break in March.
I might hang out with Brian and the boys tonight. It feels like a good night to hang out with friends and a good bottle of red wine. Ok maybe two or three bottles. Time to hit Cost Plus!
Still no freaking water! Don't they know that I don't have a dishwasher that heats to two hundred degrees, and a pile of dishes that are stacking up? I have to boil water to clean the dishes. This is a royal pain in the ass!
City of Phoenix still has the ban on tap water for the 1.5 million residents of greater Phoenix. Which means that I took a shower in contaminated water, and I'm grouchy because Starbucks isn't serving coffee. I need caffiene people! I'm tempted to head over to Scottsdale for my dose of Starbucks. AARRRGGHH!
On to something good....The new computer has arrived. I think I'm going to name him Sifl. I picked up the two new printers and wireless print server last night also. I have everything I need to be a happy geek. My geek spending spree has come to an end. *sniff*
I am so stoked right now I can hardly contain myself! I just scored tickets to go see Erasure at The Joint in Vegas on Memorial day weekend! Brian and Damon are coming along for the craziness! I love Erasure! And because I live in a city full of shit-kickers they will never make a stop here, so I am going to them!
This is so very cool!!!!
This has been a weird Friday. I got off work a wee bit early, came home, watched AMC, and took a little snooze. I forgot that I needed to go to the bank, so I ran out of the house to get there before they closed, and then came home. Courtney is at work, Brian is off doing his own thing, Chad isn't answerning the phone, Joey got called into work, and Meghan is with her Aunt Erin. I'm alone. Alone, alone, alone. It's actually not a bad thing, it just hasn't happened in such a long time that I'm at a loss as to what to do with myself. I thought about hitting the mall, but do I really need to spend money? I need to save for my new computer accessories so I don't need to go the mall. It's just me, so no cooking a meal for twenty. What do I do with myself?? I downloaded some tunes on the MAC, cleaned some toilets, and did some dishes. I think I'm going to catch up on my DVD watching and hit the sack early.
Stay safe!
I was watching I Love the 90's Part Deux, and that phrase made me laugh. I just to put it out there for all to ponder.
Happy to see that Friday is here. Got lots of work to do today. I'll be up to my neck in yucky headsets. I'm hoping to get out of here a bit early since I've been putting in longer days all week. Then it's off to hang out with Joey and do some record shopping.
Did you hear? Erasure is going to be at the Joint in Vegas in May! I so want to go to this show! Hopefully Brian and Damon can come to!
I'm back online again. I hate being without an Internet connection...I feel so lost and disconnected. I'll answer emails when I get home from work tonight.
I ordered a new Dell desktop last night. It should be here next week. YIPPEEE! I'm glad I ordered it last night, the price went up $800. Plus I scored the 19" flat screen monitor!
I've been crazy busy this past week. Courtney and I cut the baseboards and crown moulding. I'm hoping that we can install them this weekend. Then the living room will be complete. Minus the big screen TV, but I guess I can't have everything at once.
How cool can this day get...XM is playing NIN "Hurt". Kick ass man.
I am going to throw Windows XP SP2 out the window! I have three computers, and I can only connect on one of them. I spent way too much time at work so I wasn't even motivated to spend hours on the phone with tech support. I'll tackle it tonight.
If you have sent me an email in the last 24 hours, I'll respond as soon as I am back online.
On a good note, I'm ordering my new computer today or tomorrow. YEAH!
I'm having an 'off' kind of day. You know the kind....
When reading your inbox and Comic Sans bugs the shit out of you.
I'm sorry for not posting anything of substance lately. I've said it many times, work is nuts. Well today it's going to be even more crazy in my world.
I'm going to be reporting to a new boss and have new job functions. I know that the move is going to pile on more work for others, and probably for myself, but I am just thankful that I have a job and I don't have to go back to the phones. I would just die if that happened. I'm actually kind of excited about it. I think it could open up more doors for me in the future. Plus I'm learning more, and I don't have do some of the things I hate now. I'm sure that I'll get stuck with the grunt work in this new position, but for me it won't be grunt work in the beginning.
I may eat my words later, but for now I'm totally ok with the changes.
My favorite local band The Format is playing a show at the Marquee on Friday, January 28, 7pm. Start the year off right by listening to some cool tunes.

Sheryl over at PaperNapkin has declared today 'De-Lurking Day'.

So come out of hiding, leave a comment. Leave one here, leave one on every blog you happen to be stalking today.
I swear, I don't bite :)
I finished making a congrats card for a friend. Shit, I should take a picture of it. I did a really great job. As I was saying....I finished the card, ate dinner, now what? How could I not have anything that needs to be done? If I sit her a few minutes, I'll find something to do.
It's wet and cold here in Phoenix. Tornado warning ended. Yes, tornados can happen in Phoenix, but very rare. There was even hail and snow in the northern parts of town. It's just been a crazy weather day!
I made a huge dent in my workload at the office, I'm totally happy about. Is it me, or does everyone feel better when their Inboxes are empty?
I found something that needs to be done....cleaning the bathrooms. Then I can relax and watch the shows that I've TIVO'd.
Stay warm and dry!
It's already 2005! I can't believe how fast the year has gone!
I actually had work to do over the holiday weekend. Not much of a celebration for us, Courtney and I saw the ball drop on the east coast and ten minutes later we were snoozing. We're lame I know.
I started work on my new photoblog and hope to have it up shortly. Then it will be time to change skins on this page. The work never ends. I finished a couple of BlogExplosion banners. The offer is still on the table, FREE BANNERS. Just send me an email, and I'll hook you up.
I've started a few birthday projects, and the scrapbook store is so loving me lately. I've been in there three times this week! It's such a bad addiction for my bank account. Which reminds me, I need to order some eyelets. See what I mean..it's bad man.
